Rich Stowell

Rich Stowell is a highly experienced aviation professional specializing in the art and science of flying, aviation loss of control, spin, emergency maneuvers, aerobatics, and tailwheel training.

He is a recognized subject matter expert (SME) and expert witness in the field of aviation loss of control.

Rich Stowell has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and attended Blair Academy for his Prep School education.

He serves as the Lead Flight Facilitator at Take Flight Workshops, where he conducts training programs and workshops.

Formerly, Rich Stowell was part of various prestigious organizations including the Upset Prevention and Recovery Training Association, Society of Aviation and Flight Educators, and Master Instructors LLC where he held positions of significant responsibility.

He has also been active in the International Aerobatic Club and has a wealth of experience as an instructor, author, and speaker through his consulting firm, Rich Stowell Consulting.
