Riam Firouz, PE

Riam Firouz is a highly educated and experienced structural engineer who specializes in the design and construction management of transportation structures. With a bachelor's degree in integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley, Firouz went on to earn a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering, with a focus on structural engineering, from Stanford University. She also completed post-baccalaureate coursework in civil and environmental engineering at San Francisco State University.

Firouz has a particular interest in freight, commuter, and light rail transportation, as well as highway and transit structures. She currently serves as a structural project engineer at HDR, where she puts her expertise to work managing complex transportation construction projects.
