PhD Student - Respiratory Immunology Lab - Monash University
Rhiannon Grant is a first year PhD student in the Respiratory Immunology lab at the Central Clinical School, specializing in researching new treatments for allergic asthma.
Her focus is on using metabolites to target lung cells and improve the lives of individuals suffering from asthma.
Rhiannon Grant holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Respiratory Immunology from Monash University, an Honours degree from UNSW in The School of Medical Sciences with a WAM of 88, and a Bachelor's degree in Science (Medical Biotechnology) with a Distinction from the University of Wollongong.
She is currently affiliated with Monash University as a PhD student and has previously worked at various organizations including the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute, and University of Wollongong in roles such as a mentor, research project participant, and student intern.
In her past roles, Rhiannon has also served as an International Student Ambassador, Peer Academic Coach, Student Mentor, Wellbeing Student Leader, and Sales Assistant at Mountain Designs.
