Reza Moazzami, a seasoned professional with a diverse background, has a wealth of experience in strategy, general management, education, and technology spanning over several decades.
In his latest venture, Reza v3.10 launched in September 2014, he unbundled highly-rated strategy and general management courses affiliated with universities, catering to working professionals through on-demand offerings on StrategyTMT.com.
Prior to this, in Reza v3.x established in 2001, he served as an educator at the prestigious Berkeley-Haas, creating and teaching Technology/Media/Telecommunications (TMT) strategy and general management curriculum across various degree programs, impacting over a thousand students and earning recognition as a top-tier elective at Berkeley-Haas.
During his earlier career phase in Reza v2.x, which operated in the early 2000s, Reza delved into venture capital and startups, focusing on early-stage investments in diverse industries such as telecom, software, semiconductors/displays, and consumer/retail. Notably, he founded and led a Web 1.0 startup that was later acquired by Akamai Technologies.
In his initial professional stint, Reza, under Reza v1.x in the 1990s, excelled as a researcher and engineer, holding 11 patents and publishing over 30 peer-reviewed articles in esteemed journals and conferences. He contributed his expertise at reputable institutions like UC Berkeley, IBM Research, and Motorola (now Freescale), with acceptance offers from Carnegie Mellon, MIT, and Stanford.
Reza's academic journey is equally impressive, holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, a Master of Science (MS) in the same field, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) with highest honors, all from the University of California, Berkeley.
Moreover, Reza was the Founder of StrategyTMT.com and also served as a Lecturer at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley in the past.
