Reza Ali, a highly accomplished and experienced professional, has been appointed as the Director of Professional Education at ACCA. With numerous years of experience under his belt, Reza is responsible for ACCA's wide-ranging educational support to students, universities, and schools globally. Notably, he also supervises the delivery of the award-winning online program, ACCA-X, to promote social mobility and accounting at foundation levels.

He started his career as an Associate in London Middle Markets for PricewaterhouseCoopers and eventually became the Head of Business Development, ASEAN & Australasia and the Head of Emerging Markets - Asia for ACCA. Before assuming his latest role, Reza was the Director of New Ventures at ACCA, where he was responsible for expanding business partnerships by evaluating and introducing new ventures. In his earlier years at ACCA, he played an extraordinary role in the development of ACCA's strategic plan until 2020.

Reza holds a degree in BSc (Hons) Business Studies (Finance) from Lancaster University, where he finished top of his graduating cohort. Additionally, he has also obtained MSc Professional Accountancy at the University of London. Reza is a member of ACCA and has spoken to various ACCA stakeholders on emerging trends, business issues and corporate development in the region. He also authored a booklet promoting sustainability reporting in corporate Singapore.
