Rex Li

Rex Li is a final year King's Medical Research Trust/Joint Research Committee funded PhD student working in Dr. Tamir Rashid's lab.

Rex previously held the position of business development officer in the Rashid lab for greater China, focusing on early start-up fundraising and commercial due diligence for cell-therapy and disease modeling businesses in China.

He also served as the headmaster of the first bioinformatic summer school and provided supervision to junior post-graduate students in the lab.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from King's College London, Rex has over 4 years of experience in biomedical wet lab work and computational research, including international collaborations. He has received primary education in China and completed higher education in the UK.

Rex's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from King's College London and a High School Diploma in Mathematics and Science from Bosworth Independent College.

Throughout his career, Rex has been involved in research as a PhD student and volunteer at organizations like King's College London and Burlington Court Care Home.
