Rewati Raman Dhakal is the Founder of the Nepal Center for Philanthropy and Development (NCPD) with extensive experience in government, NGOs, INGOs, and UN agencies in Nepal and South Asia.
He is currently focusing on researching resilient approaches in resource mobilization post-COVID 19 to aid Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in thriving and sustaining.
Mr. Dhakal's notable roles include serving as Vice-Chair of the Asia Philanthropy Award 2019 Judging Committee in South Korea, running the news portal www.mangopost.com, and being an active member of WINGS and CIVICUS.
His expertise lies in providing training, coaching, and mentoring to CSOs in areas like branding, networking, friend-raising, fundraising strategy planning, project development, and grant writing.
Passionate about community philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, fundraising, impact investment, and venture philanthropy, Rewati is also a Country Ambassador for IFC Asia and a US Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program Alumni.
Education-wise, he holds a Masters in Sociology and Anthropology from Tribhuvan University.
In his professional journey, he has held various key positions such as Country Leader at Giving Tuesday Nepal, Resource Mobilization Manager at Nepal Red Cross Society, Adviser Fund Raising at Global Network for Sustainable Development, and Founder & CEO at Nepal Center for Philanthropy and Development among others.
