Rešad Začina is a man of many talents, having worked in various roles across software development, consulting, media, and cycling. He is now the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Ministry of Programming, a successful venture builder that helps startups succeed. Rešad has achieved several accolades, including being ranked as one of the top 50 fastest-growing companies in Central Europe by Deloitte, and being the first company from Bosnia and Herzegovina to make it to the Financial Times FT1000 list. He has also been named Manager of the Year in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2019 and received a Stockholm city key of honour while acting as a tech ambassador representing the city startup environment.
Rešad's educational journey consists of studying in three different countries and finishing various forms of education in Italian, Swedish, English, and Bosnian. He completed his IT Engineer diploma in Information Technologies at University Džemal Bijedić Mostar and attended Third gymnasium Sarajevo for high school.
Before co-founding Ministry of Programming, Rešad held various leadership roles in companies such as Fishbrain, NAGA Trader, War On Cancer, and MIOO CYCLING. His expertise lies in software engineering, web development, project management, and operations. He is also knowledgeable in cycling and is a strategic board member at ABSL Bosnia and Herzegovina.
