Renee Halgerson

Renee Halgerson is the owner and designer at Hitch Design Studio, a boutique studio in downtown Brookings established in 2014, catering to a range of design services including wedding invitations, event planning, logos, brochures, marketing materials, and websites for small businesses.

With a background in Journalism, Advertising, and Graphic Design from South Dakota State University, Renee is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the same institution.

Prior to founding Hitch Design Studio, Renee Halgerson worked as the Owner/Designer at Copper Ink Wedding Designs, Marketing Specialist at SDN Communications, and in commercial marketing at Daktronics. Moreover, she also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and SDSU PhoneJack at South Dakota State University Foundation.
