Rene Veloso is a seasoned healthcare corporate development executive with over 15 years of experience in the U.S. and International healthcare sectors. His expertise lies in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic planning, corporate finance, product development, and supply chain management. Rene has a proven track record of identifying and executing growth opportunities at both private equity-backed and publicly-listed companies, where he has held various executive positions.

In his career, Rene has demonstrated a diverse skill set that includes strategic planning, deal origination and evaluation, assembling cross-functional due diligence teams, financial modeling, deal structuring, and negotiating transaction documents. His hands-on experience spans across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare services, covering various therapeutic areas such as behavioral health, tissue regeneration, sports medicine, oncology, cardiology, and infectious diseases.

Notable accomplishments include leading a product development team that introduced four patented medical device products to the market, including a meniscal repair system acquired by Stryker.
