Renae Hill is a multi-talented professional, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the field of arts and culture. Hill has held various roles in prominent organizations such as the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications, the Biosecurity Regulation and Reform Policy department, and the Department of Agriculture. With a Bachelor of Visual Arts from The Australian National University and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), Executive from the Australian Graduate School of Management, Hill's education has focused on both the creative and managerial aspects of the arts. Hill has also studied International Business at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and earned a Graduate Certificate in Technology and Innovation Management from The University of Queensland. In her most recent role at the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications, Hill served as Business Intelligence Officer for the Arts team, keeping up-to-date on industry trends and data analysis.
Outside of her professional life, Hill runs her own artist brand, previously called Renae Morris, focusing on her visual arts background. Her experience in the field extends beyond her personal art projects, having acted as the former Museums Liaison Officer, Regional Arts Fund Program Manager, and Arts Development Program Analyst at the Department of Communications and the Arts, Attorney-General's Department, and Office for the Arts, respectively. Hill's experience ranges from arts funding management and program coordination to ICT Project Coordination/Management.
