Remi Choong is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture capitalist with a strong background in deep tech investments.

Having started his entrepreneurial journey at a young age, Remi has founded multiple successful companies before transitioning into the world of venture capital.

During his tenure at a prestigious sovereign VC fund, Remi demonstrated his expertise by closing over 20 deep-tech deals in cutting-edge technology fields like AI/ML, drones, space-tech, IoT, and autonomous vehicles.

With a passion for nurturing tech innovators, Remi now serves as a Principal at elev8.vc, focusing on supporting deep tech founders in achieving their goals through strategic investments and guidance.

Remi's academic achievements include graduating with Double Degrees in Accountancy & Business Management, with Cum Laude honors, from the Singapore Management University.

His professional journey includes roles at Enterprise Singapore, where he excelled as a Senior Investment Manager and previously as an Investment Manager and Manager (SME Solutions).

Prior to his venture into the VC domain, Remi honed his skills in risk assessment and portfolio management as a Risk Portfolio Associate at GE Capital.

His diverse experience also encompasses founding Skidoo, interning at Moore Stephens in an audit capacity, and gaining exposure to sales and marketing during an internship at Apple Inc.
