Reinder Jorritsma

Reinder Jorritsma is an Offshore Renewables enthusiast with a solid background in project development and holds a Master's degree in mechanical engineering.

He pursued his education at Praedinius Gymnasium in Groningen, focusing on Highschool subjects like Dutch, Latin, English, Physics, Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Geography.

Reinder furthered his studies by obtaining a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Offshore Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft, and also studied Mechanical Engineering at Stellenbosch University.

Throughout his career, Reinder has held various roles in reputable organizations, including being a Project Developer at DOT BV, a Program Council member at GROW offshore wind, a Solutions Development Engineer at Bluewater Energy Services, and engaging in Postgraduate research in Marine Energy Technology at Delft University of Technology.

He also gained valuable experience during his graduate Internship in the Department of Innovation in Energy Systems at Ecofys.
