Regina Dugan

Regina Dugan is a renowned business executive, engineer-artist, and product developer with a global reputation for her operational excellence, inspirational leadership, and ability to execute innovative ideas at lightning speed. With a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech, a Master's from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor's degree (summa cum laude) from Virginia Tech, Dugan has consistently demonstrated her intellectual rigor and technical expertise. Her extensive career includes leadership positions at Facebook, Google, Motorola, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where she served as the 19th Director. Dugan has spearheaded multi-billion dollar projects, which have delivered disruptive, groundbreaking products. At Wellcome Leap, where she currently serves as CEO, her passion for combining technology and science is driving solutions that solve some of the world's most critical health challenges. She has also served on the board of Cruise and Varian Medical Systems, and held VP and SVP positions at Facebook, Google, and Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo Company), respectively. Dugan is a member of the Academy of Engineering Excellence and a Distinguished Alumnus of Caltech.
