Reece Kurtenbach

Reece Kurtenbach is the President and CEO of Daktronics, a position he has held since September 2013.1 He also serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the company.13

Career at Daktronics

Kurtenbach's career at Daktronics spans over four decades:

• He started as a student employee in 1982, working in manufacturing and customer service.13
• After graduating, he briefly left Daktronics to work as an Analog Test Engineer at Unisys and a Hardware Engineer at RoMar, Ltd.15
• He returned to Daktronics in 1991 as an Applications Engineer.25
• In 1994, he became manager of a design group that developed Daktronics' first full-color LED video display product.23
• From 2007 to 2012, he served as Vice President for Live Events and International.25
• Prior to his current role, he was Executive Vice President from 2012 to September 2013.4

Kurtenbach graduated from South Dakota State University with a BS in electrical engineering, with minors in math and computer science.125 His technical background and extensive experience at Daktronics have given him a deep understanding of the company's products and industry.
