Ree Willaford is the co-owner and director of Galleri Urbane, a contemporary art gallery located in Dallas's Design District. She, along with her husband Jason Willaford, established the gallery in 2000 after initially hosting pop-up exhibitions in Marfa, Texas. The gallery has evolved significantly since its inception, moving from Silver City, New Mexico, to Marfa, and finally to Dallas in 2009.12
Under Ree's leadership, Galleri Urbane has become known for promoting contemporary artists—both emerging and mid-career—representing over 20 artists across various mediums including painting, sculpture, and photography. The gallery is committed to innovative artistic expression and hosts solo and group exhibitions approximately every seven weeks.13
