Rebecca Roberts

Rebecca Roberts is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for driving social and environmental change through her expertise in research, communications, fundraising, and project management.

She is currently serving as the Landscape Ecology Programme Coordinator at Wakehurst, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where she plays a vital role in environmental conservation initiatives.

In addition to her role at Wakehurst, Rebecca is the founder of EnviroVisuals, a unique service that leverages visual communications to advocate for social and environmental causes.

Rebecca Roberts holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography with first-class honors from the University of Cambridge, showcasing her academic excellence in the field.

She further expanded her knowledge by pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) in Agriculture and Rural Development at the University of East Anglia, demonstrating her commitment to environmental sustainability.

With an extensive professional background, Rebecca has held various key positions in organizations such as the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, UpRising Leadership, and Overseas Development Institute.

Her previous roles include Founder at EnviroVisuals, Development Assistant at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Fundraising and Communications Assistant at UpRising Leadership, and Environmental Leadership Fellow at UpRising Leadership.

Rebecca Roberts has also contributed to impactful research, journalism, and community outreach initiatives during her tenure as a Travelling Researcher at The Food Geographer and as an Independent Research Consultant at the Overseas Development Institute.

Through her combined experiences in project management, fundraising, and communications, Rebecca Roberts continues to make significant contributions to the environmental and non-profit sectors, driving positive change and inspiring others to foster a sustainable future.
