Rebecca Lynn is a prominent figure in the venture capital world, serving as Co-founder and General Partner of Canvas Ventures. With a focus on early-stage investments in fintech, digital health and AI/ML, she has been ranked on Forbes’s Midas List five years in a row and was named a “Top Women VC” by the same publication. Lynn’s impressive investment portfolio includes market leaders such as Lending Club, Check (acquired by Intuit), RelateIQ (acquired by Salesforce) and Practice Fusion (acquired by Allscripts), among others. Ms. Lynn has also been active in various board seats in successful startups such as Vida Health, Doximity, and Casetext, where she brings her deep expertise in scaling companies and making them succeed.
Rebecca Lynn graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri and holds a JD/MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to her venture career, she spent time at Procter and Gamble, where she launched products internationally. Soon after, she went on and became Vice President of Marketing and head of customer acquisition at NextCard, the first issuer of online credit cards, before founding her consulting company. Ms. Lynn founded Canvas Ventures in 2013 to build a mission-driven firm that she would want to work with as an entrepreneur.
