Rebecca Garcia-Larson

Rebecca Garcia-Larson is an experienced AR/VR/XR Metaverse Program Manager and Technical Product Manager with a background in Agile/SCRUM software engineering, mobile apps, web development, program management, UX/UI, and user research & testing.

Rebecca has held various technical and program management roles at well-known companies like Meta, AMC Networks, and Microsoft. She also has experience as a developer evangelist and as a web design course mentor.

Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), Rebecca co-founded CoderDojo NYC, a non-profit program teaching children how to code. She has been recognized for her efforts in advocating for underrepresented groups.

Rebecca's educational background includes a Fellowship in Entrepreneurship at Columbia University and Product Management studies at General Assembly. She has been involved in various programs, coaching sessions, and mentorship roles throughout her career.

Rebecca has been honored with multiple awards including the 2013 U.S. White House 'Champion of Change for Tech Inclusion' and recognition from Glamour Magazine, AskMen, Hispanicize Positive Impact Awards, Pacific Standard, and Crain's Hispanic Executive & Entrepreneur.
