Raymond Zhen is the Chief Technical Officer at DataDasher, a venture-backed enterprise AI company that partners with financial advisory firms to help them work more efficiently and provide better service to their clients.2

Zhen has a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and engineering. He has held several research positions at Stanford University, including:

• Data Analyst Intern at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, where he analyzed datasets to inform the university's sustainable impact, used machine learning to classify purchasing data, and developed tools to automate data processing.1

• Shape Lab Researcher at the Stanford University School of Engineering, where he worked on projects related to haptic interfaces and contour displays for blind and visually impaired users. His research on "Slide-Tone and Tilt-Tone: 1-DOF Haptic Techniques for Conveying Shape Characteristics of Graphs to Blind Users" was published in the ACM CHI 2022 Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems.1

Prior to DataDasher, Zhen also gained industry experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Bosch, where he leveraged statistical techniques, Python, and generative design to optimize automotive display components.1
