Raymond Jones
Photographer/Video Producer at Habitat for Humanity International
Raymond McCrea Jones is a photographer and filmmaker based in Atlanta, Georgia. He joined the storytelling team at Habitat for Humanity International in 2021, where he travels globally to document stories of those affected by poverty and housing instability.13
Jones began his career at The New York Times before transitioning to independent work in the Southern United States. He is known for his unique blend of contemporary reportage and portraiture, creating imagery driven by curiosity.1
In addition to his work with Habitat for Humanity, Jones is the creative director of Creature Studio, which he co-owns with his wife Jenn Jones.1 He has published two monographs: "Out of Step: Faces of Straight Edge" (2007) and "Birth of a Warrior: Ten Weeks in Basic Training" (2015).2
Jones' work has been exhibited in galleries and museums, and his photography has been featured in numerous publications worldwide. He has also worked on commercial projects for clients such as Square, Mercedes-Benz, Spotify, and Delta Airlines.1
