    Raym Geis MD is a Senior Scientist at the ACR Data Science Institute, Adjunct Associate Professor of Radiology at National Jewish Health, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. With a strong background in both medicine and engineering, Dr. Geis focuses on the ethics of machine learning/AI in radiology, radiology CVML DevOps, and informatics interests including radiology dataset distribution shift for ML. He is actively involved in various organizations such as the ACR Informatics Commission, Canadian Association of Radiologists’ Artificial Intelligence Working Group, and Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM). Dr. Geis is also known for co-organizing the RSNA/SIIM National Imaging Informatics Curriculum and Course (NIIC), emphasizing the importance of combining and tagging medical image and language data for structured analysis.
