Ray Kistemaker

Ray Kistemaker is a talented UX/UI designer known for inspiring action through visual storytelling. With a solid foundation in the design thinking process, Ray is fueled by curiosity and a passion for innovation.

Ray's skill set includes expertise in User Interface Design, Sketching, Wireframing, Prototyping, User Research, Usability Testing, Product Design, Responsive Web Design, and familiarity with both iOS design patterns (HIG) and Android design patterns (Material). Ray is proficient in tools like Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, and also has a background in Front-end Development and Visual Design.

Ray's academic background includes a BSBA in Marketing with minors in Computer Science and Film Studies & Production from the University of Denver. Additionally, Ray pursued further education in User Experience Design through an immersive program at General Assembly.

Throughout Ray's career, they have held roles at various organizations such as NLP Logix as a User Experience Designer, Florida Blue as a User Experience Designer, DiscoverTec as a UX/UI Designer, and C7 Creative as a UX/UI Design Intern, among others. Ray's diverse professional experience includes being a Co-founder/UX/UI Designer at Make Today Great Company, a UI Designer at thePrep, and a Dev/Ops Community Manager Intern at iTriage, LLC. Ray also has experience as a UX Design Research Intern at Startup America Partnership and is a former NCAA Division 1 Gymnast from the University of Denver.
