Ray G. Butler is a seasoned professional in the field of software development, with over 15 years of experience as a software analyst, project manager, and R&D manager. He is the CEO of Butler Scientifics, a startup focused on creating easy-to-use data analysis software tools to support biomedical researchers worldwide. Ray is an expert in entrepreneurship, lean start-up, bootstrapping, software engineering, data science, and big data/complex data analytics.

Ray has a BSc in Computer Sciences from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and a Master Executive MBA from EADA Business School. His professional experience ranges from being an associate professor in statistics at EUNCET to a former director of software R&D at PanLab Harvard Apparatus, where he was also a member of the steering committee.
