He is the CEO of Butler Scientifics, a startup focused on creating easy-to-use data analysis software tools to support biomedical researchers worldwide. Ray is an expert in entrepreneurship, lean start-up, bootstrapping, software engineering, data science, and big data/complex data analytics.

Ray has a BSc in Computer Sciences from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and a Master Executive MBA from EADA Business School.
