Ray August is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and insurance sectors. He served as the Founding Partner at August Ventures from January 2021 to March 2022, where he worked closely with boards, CEOs, and C-suite executives to drive profitable growth through technology-driven transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital.14
Currently, Ray August is the President of Insurance Software and Business Process Services at DXC Technology, a position he has held since March 2022.12 Prior to this, he was the President and CEO of Benefitfocus from January 2018 to December 2020, and before that, he served as the President and COO of the same company.13 His earlier career includes significant roles such as the President of the Financial Services Group at CSC and Group Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Great Plains Software.1
Ray August holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina - The Moore School of Business.1
