Ravi Ramenani
Ravi Ramenani is an accomplished Biotechnology professional with a drive for innovation in genomics and immunosequencing. He has a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Anna University. His career began with 454 Life Sciences, where he pioneered the development of a bench-top NGS instrument, GS-Junior, making genomics research widely accessible. This also saw the Roche Company democratizing the field of DNA sequencing opening doors for academic and industrial researchers. Later at Cell Signaling Technology, he solved immune repertoire sequencing challenges using Microfluidics and novel barcoding design. Ramenani is currently contributing to the democratization of the antibody discovery process at Berkeley Lights by making it fast (one-day) and accessible to every lab, which could drastically impact the pharmaceutical industry.
