Raul Taborda

Raul Taborda is a creative professional at Canva with a passion for empowering individuals to design.

With over a decade of experience in global Advertising Agencies and Boutique Design Studios, Raul began his career at Saatchi&Saatchi before transitioning to focus on Graphic, Motion, and Digital Design in 2014.

Raul has shared his expertise as a teacher at Miami Ad School and has worked with renowned clients like THE ICONIC, Sneaker Freaker, and Vivid Sydney during his time as a designer in Sydney.

In 2019, Raul joined the Creative Team at Canva to further contribute to the world of design.

Aside from his work at Canva, Raul is also the co-founder of .MATTER, a men's fashion brand that prioritizes recycled and organic materials and advocates for price transparency.

His contributions to sustainable fashion were recognized when .MATTER was named one of Brazil's top ten promising fashion brands in terms of social and environmental consciousness.

Raul's educational background includes studying Social Communication at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Communication Design at Universität der Künste Berlin.
