Raúl González is a Mexican audio specialist, professor, and composer with extensive experience in music technology, audiovisual design, and interactive media. Born in 1984 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, González began his musical training at the Faculty of Music at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where he specialized in classical piano, saxophone, and percussion. He later earned a bachelor's degree in Electronic Production and Design from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he focused on vibraphone, production techniques, and music technology.
González's professional background includes developing audio and music for films, advertising, and interactive media. He has also created custom software and technology for audiovisual installations and live shows. Additionally, he has taught music production and technology at institutions such as ITESM Campus Monterrey and Sonopro.
Today, González is a certified Ableton trainer and teaches in the Digital Music and Sound Arts program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He continues to push the boundaries of music and sound, exploring new forms of expression and technology.
