Rasmus Pedersen

Rasmus Wied Pedersen is an honors student in Biotechnological Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark.

With a background in MSc.Eng., Biotechnology, Honours, Rasmus has gained diverse experiences in areas like synthetic biology, drug discovery, and engineering of continuous processes.

His educational journey includes a research internship at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, a BSc Eng. in Bioteknologi from DTU, and participation in a Summer School in Bio and Brain Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.

Rasmus Wied Pedersen has been actively involved in various organizations, serving as a Student Assistant in Business Development at Bactolife, as a Co-Founder of GRØN and Effective Altruism Denmark, and as a President of SBE.DTU, among other roles.

He has also contributed to research as a Student Researcher at The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability and gained valuable industry experience at Novozymes and Sennheiser Communications A/S.
