Rashad Ullah
Linguistics Researcher, Lexicographer, and Lecturer
Rashad Ullah, MA, MPhil, is a seasoned language professional who excels in creating foreign language textbooks, workbooks, and dictionaries. He is currently contributing his expertise at the JTG Language Research Center, focusing on languages from the Indian subcontinent and branching out into Amharic, Arabic dialects, and Kinyarwanda. With a rich background spanning 11 years in Less Commonly Taught Languages (LCTL), fieldwork, pedagogy, and 2nd Language Acquisition, Rashad brings a wealth of knowledge to his projects. He also boasts over 5 years of training and graduate-level research in linguistic typology, morphology, psycholinguistics, and semantics/pragmatics. Furthermore, Rashad has successfully designed and taught linguistics courses at the university level.
Rashad's educational journey includes pursuing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and a Master of Arts (MA) from Yale University, as well as completing his Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Bard College at Simon's Rock.
In his professional endeavors, Rashad Ullah has held key roles such as Senior Language Researcher at the Language Research Center at JTG Inc., Lecturer at Southern Connecticut State University, and Senior Linguist at the Language Research Center at AECOM.
