Raquel Guzman

Raquel Salas is a seasoned attorney with experience in both family and business law. Her expertise ranges from representing clients in divorce proceedings, child custody matters, guardianships, and adoptions to handling business transactions, including contract drafting and negotiation, formation, and litigation. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law, Raquel joined Warner Norcross & Judd and later co-founded Avanti Law Group, PLLC. She also worked as an Assistant US Attorney in Sacramento and Detroit, prosecuting criminal and civil cases. Her article, which argued that a federal enforcement practice violated the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, was published by Michigan State College of Law. In addition to managing member responsibilities, Raquel's skills include women and minority certification, food law, bankruptcy, immigration, labor and employment defense, and reorganizing existing business operations.
