Raquel Carvalho

Dr. Raquel Carvalho is an accomplished legal scholar and educator, holding a PhD in Law and Political Sciences from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) and a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Coimbra.

She is an Associate Professor and researcher, affiliated with CEID - Catolica Research Centre for the Future of Law, with a specialization in Administrative Law, particularly focusing on Public Procurement Law, Administrative Contracts, Urban, and Environmental Law.

As an integral member of various prestigious organizations such as ANESC Portuguese Section, European Law Institute, and RED - Iberoamericana de Contratación Pública, Dr. Carvalho has contributed significantly to the field of law.

Her dedication to academia extends to teaching Administrative Law at undergraduate, Master's, and PhD levels at UCP, where she imparts her expertise and knowledge to aspiring legal professionals.

Throughout her career, Dr. Raquel Carvalho has been involved in several leadership roles, including serving as Chairman of the General Assembly of APDU and as an Arbitrator in institutions such as Observatório das Autarquias Locais and Centro de Arbitragem e Mediação do IGAP.
