Randy Neufeld is a prominent figure in cycling advocacy with over three decades of experience. He served as the SRAM Cycling Fund Director at SRAM from 2009 to September 2023.25 Neufeld joined SRAM after the company established a $10 million SRAM Cycling Fund, which distributed $2 million over five years to increase global cycling advocacy, grow relationships between non-profit cycling organizations and for-profit companies, and invest in mountain bike trails and safe city streets infrastructure.23
Before joining SRAM, Neufeld was the executive director of the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation (later renamed Active Transportation Alliance) from 1987 to 2004, and then served as its chief strategy officer from 2005 to 2008.4 His experience spans the entire spectrum of local, national, and international cycling advocacy.1
