Currently, Randy serves as an Ecologist for the North American Science team and the LANDFIRE team at The Nature Conservancy, where he focuses on conservation efforts at substantial scales.
Having held positions such as Honorary Associate Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Adjunct Faculty at Northern Michigan University, Forest Ecologist, and Ecologist at various institutions, Randy L. Swaty brings a wealth of experience to the table.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Randy is a proud father, a skilled boat builder, a musician, and a dedicated gardener, showcasing his diverse interests and capabilities outside the realm of ecology.
