Randy Jones is a distinguished professional with 31 years of experience in the Department of Defense's Research and Development sector followed by 5 years at a University research institute.
During his tenure at the Department of Defense, Randy spearheaded numerous R&D projects focused on systems engineering processes, tradespace analysis, and vehicle mobility products.
As the Director of the Mississippi State University Institute for Systems Engineering Research (ISER), Randy led a team in advancing system engineering processes and virtual prototyping through computational data science and engineering.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa.
He has formerly held positions such as Director at the Institute for Systems Engineering Research at Mississippi State University and Supervisory Research Civil Engineer at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC).
Currently semi-retired, Randy is indulging in his well-deserved leisure time.
