Randy Castleman is an experienced investor in emerging technologies and funds with a career spanning 25 years.
He currently serves as the managing partner of Carbon Drawdown Collective, the investment and philanthropic arm of a family office, and is a co-founder and director of Fauna Systems, a company focused on commercializing living robots.
Prior to his current roles, Randy co-founded and was the managing partner at Court Square Ventures, an early-stage venture firm with notable investments like Automated Insights and Yandex, backed by prominent institutional investors.
He also managed investments at Signature Family Wealth Advisors and provided advisory services at SRF Management, assisting family offices with direct investing and fund management.
Randy has been an Entrepreneur in Residence at Harvard's Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, where he was involved in the commercialization of DNA for data storage.
He holds a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.
