Randula Liyanage

Randula Liyanage is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of expertise in developing enterprise applications and MVC architecture using core Java, J2EE, Swing, Applet, XSLT, JSP/Servlets, EJB, Messaging Services JMS, Oracle 10g, IBM MQ, IBM Websphere, and Jboss.

Having earned a BSc in Engineering (Hons) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, Randula carries 8+ years of extensive experience in the capital markets and investment banking domain. He has worked on developing backend systems and order management systems for various banks in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Randula is well-versed in object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, analysis and design (OOAD), design patterns, and code optimization. Besides, he has a strong track record as an onsite development and support engineer, having supported key banking institutions in Saudi Arabia.

In terms of professional experience, Randula Liyanage has held key technical roles at DirectFN, including Senior Technical Lead, Former Tech Lead, Associate Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Prior to that, he began his career as a Trainee Software Engineer at IronOne Technologies LLC.
