Randi Stone
Instructional Coach at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS)
Randi Stone is an experienced educator with a strong background in early childhood education. She holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Dominican University, a Bachelor of Science in Political Communication from Emerson College, and a Master's Degree in School Leadership from Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
Her teaching journey began in 2010 within the Chicago Public Schools system, where she taught a range of grades from Pre-K to third grade. Randi has received prestigious awards like the Literacy Collaborative Award from CPS and the Boundless Readers Rochelle Lee Award for her commitment to literacy education.
Aside from her teaching roles, Randi has also taken on various leadership positions, including serving as an Instructional Coach at District of Columbia Public Schools, Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Conservatory Lab Charter School, and Principal Intern at Boston Public Schools. She has also been actively involved in community organizing and has worked with parents to develop leadership skills in different educational settings.
Throughout her career, Randi Stone has been associated with esteemed organizations such as Teach for America, KIPP Chicago, UNO Charter School Network, Leadership for Educational Equity, and more. She has also been engaged in roles outside the education sector, contributing her skills to organizations like Citizens Against Road Tolls, The Odysseus Project, and Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
