Ranay Padarath

Ranay Padarath is a professional with a diverse background, driven by the belief that his career can be a catalyst for positive change in the world.

Ranay holds a Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where he also completed the StartQUT program. He has a strong educational foundation, having attended Brisbane State High School for his senior high school education.

In his career journey, Ranay Padarath has held various roles in prestigious organizations. He has served as a Policy Advisor at the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience as a Senior Management Consultant at KPMG Australia and as a Management Consultant at the same firm. Additionally, he has worked as a Business Analyst at TechnologyOne.

Ranay has also accumulated technical expertise through roles such as Engineering work experience at Quickcell Technology Products Pty Ltd and positions at Apple, where he progressed from Tier 1 Technician to Genius (Tier 3 Technician) and held roles as Technical Expert and Technical Specialist.

In terms of his involvement in extracurricular activities, Ranay Padarath has been the Founder and Director of Membership at Rotaract Club of Brisbane International (rCBI). He has also held roles such as Social Director (Executive) and Club Representative at QUT Mechanical Engineering Student Society (MESS). Furthermore, he has experience in sales as a Product Specialist at Apple and even worked as a Sandwich Artist at Subway.

Passionate about driving positive change, Ranay Padarath took a career break in 2022 to delve into understanding the world's most pressing issues and explore career paths that can lead to significant impacts. This reflective pause underscored his commitment to purposeful work and making informed decisions in his professional journey.
