Rama Vuyyuru is an accomplished computer scientist and software development engineer with extensive experience in network and mobile technology development. He has a proven track record of working on highly mobile networks, wireless spectrum utilization, and intelligent connectivity solutions. He is also a passionate innovator, always striving to bring the latest technological advancements to our day-to-day devices.
Vuyyuru studied Computer Science and Information Technology for his Bachelor of Technology degree at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, and went on to earn a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Throughout his career, Vuyyuru has held multiple distinguished positions. He is currently a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Lab126, where he is responsible for bringing cloud connectivity to a range of devices. Prior to this, he held positions such as Principal Software Engineer at LinkBee, IoT backend engineer at iDevices, Researcher at Toyota InfoTechnology Center, and Software Engineer at Azonic Systems.
Vuyyuru has led multiple groundbreaking projects over the years, including a project focused on dynamic spectrum access technologies for vehicular communication using unlicensed and TV white space technologies. He also led a project focused on context-aware disruption-tolerant networking, aimed at improving connectivity for mobile environments.
