Ram Murthy is a skilled and accomplished software engineer with a passion for new technology and software. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Physics. Ram currently works as a Principal Software Engineer at Keysight Technologies, where he has been instrumental in developing and implementing quality products across the OSI Stack, ranging from Layer 1 bring up on high-speed Ethernet interfaces like 400G and 100G to implementing DPDK based solutions for application traffic at L47.

Ram's professional experience includes working as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Spirent Communications, where he developed Layer 2/3 drivers for generating, analyzing, and capturing up to line rate traffic. He also worked as a Segre Physics Intern at UC Berkeley. Ram has worked closely with many customers in the networking, telecom, and automotive industry to address interoperability issues and implement features for their products.

Ram is very interested in the future of the networking industry and the FOSS ecosystem for networking. He prides himself on making quality products that meet customer expectations and requirements.
