Dr. Ralph Romero is a distinguished figure in the field of independent assessment of novel technologies and the commercial development of photovoltaic technology, with over 25 years of experience.
Currently serving as the head of the Independent Assessment of Novel Technologies division at Black & Veatch Management Consulting, Dr. Romero provides consulting services to both domestic and international photovoltaic equipment manufacturers, investors, and lenders, encompassing technology design, performance and reliability assessment, manufacturing, project evaluation, and operations management.
His areas of expertise include the assessment of novel technologies, thin-film and crystalline silicon PV technology development, PV manufacturing, performance and reliability assessment, as well as project evaluation.
Dr. Romero holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Physics from Havana University, Cuba.
