Ralph Hedges

Ralph Hedges is the Director of the Chopin Piano Academy, which is located in Tigard, Oregon. He has a rich musical background, having been born in 1933 to musical parents in Denver, Colorado. His father was a music professor at the Lamont School of Music. Hedges has extensive experience in music education, having served as a piano and music theory teacher and later as a conductor for the Oahu Civic Orchestra from 1999 to 2002.123

In addition to his role at the Chopin Piano Academy, Hedges is recognized for his contributions to music competitions, having served as a judge in the Enkor Piano and Violin competition held in Düsseldorf, Germany. He is also an author, contributing to the field of music education.4
