Rakesh Sonava

Rakesh Sonava is an accomplished entrepreneur and project manager with expertise in web and mobile-based product development, e-commerce, and supply chain management. He has extensive experience handling techno-commercial and supply chain functions in different industry domains, including engineering, chemical, IT, FMCG, and food distribution. Rakesh has successfully led ERP project implementations and has experience establishing, managing, and leading supply chain management and purchase functions.

Rakesh is the founder of Appymonk, a web, and mobile-based platform that helps businesses enhance their operations. Previously, he co-founded and served as CEO of Nethaat Softsol (P) Ltd, an online marketplace for handmade and designer items with 5000+ sellers, and Biltypay.com, a payment system for e-commerce businesses.

He has received awards and recognition for his innovative startups, including the Star Entrepreneurship Award. Rakesh holds a Master of Business Administration in Materials Management and a Graduate Diploma in Materials Management from the Indian Institute of Materials Management. He is also a Masters Certificate holder in Supply Chain and Logistics from the Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto.
