Rajkumar Vinnakota

Rajkumar Vinnakota, commonly known as Kumar, is an attorney specialized in Intellectual Property Litigation and Licensing, Commercial/Business Litigation, and Patent Portfolio Management and Development.

With extensive experience in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts as well as administrative agencies, he handles a wide range of cases including intellectual property, trade secrets, energy, business torts, partnership disputes, and insurance matters.

His background includes working as a process engineer at ExxonMobil Chemical and involvement in chemical plant design studies at Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) in Houston, Texas.

Prior to co-founding Janik Vinnakota LLP, he held a partnership at an intellectual property litigation boutique in Dallas, Texas, and worked as an Associate at Andrews Kurth LLP.

Educationally, Rajkumar pursued a J.D. in Law from The University of Texas School of Law, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and completed his high school education at Cy-Fair High School.
