Rajesh Ranjan, CFA is an experienced private equity and early-stage investor with a successful track record of profitable exits. He also has experience as a senior investment banker, accruing over 22 years of experience in both buy and sell-side and operations. Currently, he serves as the CEO of NABVentures Limited, the Investment Manager to NABVentures Fund I, which focuses on early to mid-stage start-ups in agriculture, agtech, food, and rural businesses, with a target base corpus of INR 500 crore.

Ranjan has studied Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and holds a charter as a CFA charterholder, received from the CFA Institute, as well as an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Before joining NABVentures, he was previously the Director (Head) - Investments at CapAleph Fund and the Managing Director at Asia Cap Advisors (erstwhile India Capital Advisory and Investment Holdings). Moreover, he held key roles at Destimoney Securities Pvt. Ltd, Transwarranty Finance Ltd., Q Investments LP, IDFC Investment Advisors Limited, and ICRA Limited, among others.

With deep expertise in private equity, early-stage, incubation, and M&A, Ranjan has built strong relationships with mid-market companies, business houses, investors, investment banks, legal, and accounting teams. His experience has also led him to invest in companies such as Jai Kisan, Unnati, Krishitantra, Satyukt, TenderCuts, Fraazo, Vilcart, and Eggoz.
