Rajat Sahni is a seasoned business leader with a diverse background in entrepreneurship and intrapreneurism in the fintech and consumer internet domains. He is an IIT Delhi alumnus with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, and he later gained a wealth of business education through his experiences in the real world. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles that shaped his expertise in product management, strategy, and operations. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded an education company that provided professional training to individuals. He also served as Entrepreneur in Residence at GSF Accelerator, where he provided mentorship to early-stage startups. He worked at The Boston Consulting Group as a strategy consultant and later collaborated with Patu Keswani, the founder of LemonTree Hotels, as Chief of Staff in the CEO’s office.

In his most recent position, Rajat built and led financial services and used car businesses at CarDekho.com. He transformed the used car business from a classifieds play to a transaction-led platform that included three marketplaces, namely B2B/C2B Auctions, Finance & Insurance Marketplace, and Consumer Classifieds Marketplace. Using his experience as one of the top five leaders in the company, he set the overall strategic vision for the organization, and they ultimately secured over $75 million dollars in funding from Sequoia Capital and leading Indian Bank (Axis Bank). As an entrepreneur at heart, Rajat is now exploring his next business venture while actively investing in startups as an angel investor.
