Rajat Basu

Rajat Basu is a dedicated and skilled technical leader with a strong focus on intelligent transportation, powertrain development, and clean energy.

He holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Powertrain Engineering and Thermal-Fluid systems from Michigan State University and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Rajat has held key positions at reputable organizations, including his current role as Chief Engineer at Cruise working on the Cruise Origin project.

Previously, he served as the Chief Engineer for Advanced Technology Programs at Ricardo and led projects at Ricardo Innovations as a Project Leader.

His experience also includes working as a Senior Project Engineer in Powertrain Development and as a Technical Team Lead for Engine Performance Development at Caterpillar Inc.
