    Rajan Vaish is a highly experienced Senior Research Scientist at Snap Research with an extensive academic and professional background in computer science.

    He completed his B-Tech/B.S in Computer Science from Jaypee University of Information Technology, pursued his PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and studied 10+2 in PCM at La Martiniere College, Lucknow.

    Rajan's research interests span various areas including Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), augmented reality (AR/VR), smart glasses, crowdsourcing, and the intersection of human computation and artificial intelligence.

    Prior to joining Snap Research, he held positions such as Research Scientist, Technology & Leadership at Stanford A.I.M.S., and Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University.

    Throughout his career, Rajan Vaish has been involved with renowned organizations like Microsoft Research, PARC, IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Google, where he contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher, Research Intern, Developer, and more.

    He has also volunteered for notable initiatives including The Borgen Project at the United Nations Volunteers and has leveraged his expertise in technology through roles at Accenture Technology Labs, LetsGetThisRight.com, and One Laptop Per Child.
