Raj Sridharan

Raj Sridharan is a Senior Project Manager at Morrow Batteries, a role he has held since December 2021. He has a strong background in construction management and project engineering, having previously worked with notable companies such as Tesla and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Education

Raj completed his Master of Science (M.S.) in Construction Management at Texas A&M University from 2008 to 2010. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, which he earned from 2004 to 2008.1

Professional Experience

Before joining Morrow Batteries, Raj worked at AWS as a Data Center Engineer for critical projects from December 2019 to September 2021. His tenure at Tesla spanned from August 2015 to June 2019, where he was involved in the construction of the first Tesla Gigafactory in Reno, Nevada, and held positions including Senior Construction Manager and Project Engineer. He began his career as a Project Engineer at Walsh Construction and also worked as a BIM Engineer/Estimator at Apex Cost Consultants.12

At Morrow Batteries, Raj is responsible for overseeing the establishment of the Morrow Industrialization Center, which focuses on the entire battery production value chain, from research and design to mass production. His experience in building critical infrastructure is expected to be instrumental in developing the company's innovative battery manufacturing capabilities.23
